When it comes to writing, a writer must first consider what he wants to write about. And as a Christian, I have no end of things to write about.
But, you see, therein lies my problem. I am writing not only about the most controversial thing on the planet, but also about the most important thing on the planet.
If Christianity really is right, and Jesus really is who He said He was, everything changes. Then we ought to deepen ourselves further into the story to understand every aspect.
This is my mission.
It’s the very reason I’m alive.
What I plan to accomplish with all my writing is mainly this: to use writing as a tool to deeper understand the world, people, and Jesus Christ.
The word Elohim is actually a name of God. The Bible says in Revelation 5:9,
“And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,”
The Psalmist David also spoke a lot about singing a new song. What I take this new song to mean is the entire redemptive story of the Bible, since here in Revelation it is referencing the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. And that moves me. If the elders are singing a song about redemption while we get to live redemption, then that means we’re the ones living the new song they’re praising God with! What a privilege!
But I truly wanted to understand the depth of that privilege, which is why I’m writing the Song Of Elohim, which is mainly a story that will also span the gap of humanity’s fall from Elohim, the redemptive work of Elohim, and the ever increasing glory of Elohim.
At the time of this writing, I don’t know how long it will take me or how many books or stories I’ll need to write in order to capture the full Song. But I do know that I won’t stop until it’s completed, because God is at work in my heart.
Over the next while, I plan on doing a few things that will not be possible unless I have your support, mainly support in prayer.
I plan to release things that will be both exciting and new, but it will only be available to those who are on my email list. So if you think you can find someone who will be interested, please share this web page with them using the button on the bottom.
